I fear that these deeply entrenched messages block the way of finding my purpose because of the outcast identity that society projected on to me. I moved forward hoping to be able to manage the attraction and be at peace.
There are many options to make friends in the gay community whether or not you're introverted, extroverted, shy or fearful to express yourself. As my comfort level with myself began to flourish, so did my ability to socialize and meet new people. The answer is simple: you either do or you don't.
